Shakira manages the by-law practice at Chambers Russell Lawyers, with a focus on preparing and reviewing by-laws, consolidations, attending to registrations and preparing advice for small strata disputes.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Shakira worked as a transition success contact assistant at her university, assisting new students with the transition to university, and an intern at a human rights advocacy firm that aimed to improve the social and mental health of prisoners and involuntary patients. Shakira also has extensive experience in hospitality.
Shakira currently holds a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Sociology (Criminology and Criminal Justice) from Western Sydney University, and is currently in the process of completing her practical legal training for admission as a Lawyer.
